Disney has recently announced "Incredible Summer" list of new shows, characters and attractions set to open for summer 2018.
I often hear people say things like, "It's too crowded," or "It's too hot during the summer to go to Disney." Well, it also happens to be the best time to be able to check out all the new attractions, shows that may only be happening just for summer (last year's The Music of Pixar - Live! was great!), and enjoy the refreshing water parks, and to be honest, I have never found the park crowds to be any worse during the summer months than any other time of the year...sometimes it's better, actually.
Now, lets take a look at the new things opening for summer.
Magic Kingdom:
The Incredibles Take Over Tomorrowland
Park guests can party with Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl and Frozone from Disney Pixar's "The Incredibles" and the soon to be blockbuster "Incredibles 2." Edna Mode, the greatest superhero costume designer, will also make her debut appearance. Characters will interact with park guests around Tomorrowland before taking the stage each evening for a "SUPER" dance party on the Rocket Tower Stage This is set to begin May 25, 2018.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Take the Stage
Starlord and Gamora from "The Guardians of the Galaxy" will join an alien band, taking guests on a journey through the cosmos. The party will feature hits from Awesome Mix Tapes 1 and 2 with fun and favorite tunes from the two movies' soundtracks. This fun dance party event is sure to build anticipation for the new Guardians of the Galaxy attraction coming to Epcot in the future. Park guests can check out this new dance party happening on the American Gardens Theater stage beginning Memorial Day Weekend May 25, 2018

Guests will discover new bird species from around the world at this new show, which will star Senior Wilderness Explorer Russell and his fury friend, Dug.
A "Dino-Tastic" Celebration for Donald Duck Will Debut
A "Dino-Tastic" celebration, in which Donald Duck takes over Dinoland U.S.A. in a new character celebration.
Both shows are set to open in time for Animal Kingdom park's 20th anniversary on April 22, 2018.

Toy Story Land Opens Summer 2018
This is probably the most highly anticipated opening for this summer. This new 11-acre section of Disney's Hollywood Studios will shrink park guests to the size of a toy to allow you to have fun exploring Andy's backyard. Here you will be able to experience two new attractions: the Slinky Dog Dash coaster and Alien Swirling Saucers. One of this park's top attractions will be found in this new section of the park now complete with a new entrance...Toy Story Midway Mania. Woody's Lunch Box will be the new quick service option for this section of the park and feature tasty meals and old-fashioned soda fountain floats.
*Disney has not yet announced an opening date for Toy Story Land, so stay tuned because it will be coming in the next few month.
