Disney has done a good job of promoting their special "After Hours" event for Magic Kingdom this past year, and it seems like more people are catching on this special event and the fact that you can get on most attractions in Magic Kingdom with a MUCH shorter wait time than you could ever do during normal park operating hours.
I have done Magic Kingdom After Hours the past two years, and we were able to ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train multiple times, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain (NO WAIT) and Space Mountain, stop to grab a Mickey ice cream bar, bottled drink, popcorn and capture some amazing photos of this park lit up at night with zero crowds of people around. I mean, when can you sit in front of Cinderella Castle to have your picture taken with not one other person in your photo? Yeah, it was pretty awesome!

The After Hours ticket will allow you to enter the park at 7 PM on the event night, which is before the actual event begins. When everyone else is exiting the park at closing time you get to experience it for three hours past the normal closing time with a few of your long-lost friends...haha! I say "a few" because that's what it felt like. The nights we did this event if was like being in Magic Kingdom for a private event because there were so many less people in the park.
During this three hour event, you get to experience little to no wait time for attractions, character meet and greet opportunities and Mickey ice cream sandwiches, ice cream bars, popcorn and bottled drinks are all included with your even ticket, and being able to enter the park at 7 PM means you still get to see the nighttime fireworks or shows before park closing.

Disney's After Hours tickets cost $125 + tax for advance purchase and $129 + tax for day-of purchases. Annual Passholders will receive a discounted price of $95 + tax.
