If you are either an active-duty U.S. military service member, retired or know someone who is you are most likely well aware of the offer that Disney extends to members of our military.
This offer typically runs from the beginning of the fiscal year (Oct. 1st) and ending the end of September. This means that pretty much everyone that qualifies for this special theme park ticket offer and resort discount wait on pins and needles tapping their feet June - August waiting to see if Disney will again renew this offer, so they can make their travel plans to Disney during the next year.
Disney has "extended" the current 2015 offer to qualifying members of our military until Dec. 20, 2015. They have also extended the maximum number military salute tickets that a military member, or spouse, can purchase from six to twelve. This is HUGE because it doubles the amount of times a military family can visit either Disneyland in California or Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida.
Please note that Disney has not made an announcement as of yet they will be renewing the current offer into 2016. If that is going to happen the announcement should come sometime late summer, so stay tuned!
