Disney Cruise Line has announced that the Disney Wonder will be going into dry dock this fall (Sept. 9 - Oct. 23, 2016) for normal maintenance, as well as getting some exciting new enhancements as well. The Disney Wonder is one of the cruise line's "classic" ships and is a little smaller than the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy ships.
The Wonder will receive exciting new entertainment and experiences while in dry dock. Leading the enhancements are imaginative spaces for children, a jazzy restaurant and and English pub.
Exclusive to the Disney Wonder, Tiana's Place restaurant will transport you to to an era of southern charm, spirited jazz and street party celebrations. With an menu influenced by southern-style cuisine, Tiana's Place will provide food for the body and soul, showing that dreams and dishes come true!
After Hours, a new adult district, will feature an all-new night club, a shiny new model of the popular Cadillac Lounge and a brand-new pub that invites Guests to take a jaunt to an authentic English tavern.
These new enhancements will debut on sailings starting November 10. 2016 from Galveston, Texas. The Disney Wonder will continue to sail from Galveston to the Bahamas and the Caribbean, until the ship sails to San Juan, Puerto Rico on Jan. 20, 2017. On Jan. 26, 2017, a three-night cruise aboard the Disney Wonder will take Guests from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Port Canaveral, Florida where the ship will homeport for the spring.
