Walt Disney World® Resort Welcomes Its Newest Disney Princess!
Princess Elena of Avalor
If you have an elementary aged child I am sure you know all about Princess Elena on Disney Jr. Friday nights at 7pm. On Thursday, August 11, 2016 Princess Elena was the first "crowned" princess introduced into the Disney family. She is busy traveling the world learning about other culture so she can take the information back to her country of Avalor. She arrived in Disney's Magic Kingdom by carriage and was introduced by Cinderella and Prince Charming. Her gown is made of over 14 yards of Avalorian satin with over 900 embroidered flowers and her crown is encrusted with 222 jewels. This is the gown that Princess Elena wore when she was crowned Princess of Avalor in her home country.
